is developed for easy access of various women and child schemes, Application forms to avail various Women and Child Schemes to local womens especially of Sindhudurg District of Maharashtra India.
Women and Child Development Department, Government of Maharashtra puts in concentrated efforts in the area of women development to ensure survival, protection, development and participation of Women in a holistic manner. Some of the key objectives of the department in terms of Women Development are (but not limited to):
Support to victimized, destitute and deprived women for their rehabilitation
Protection to women who are victims of family and social violence
Eradicate harmful social practices against women
Provide skills and competencies to women that shall give them employability
Develop a women workforce that is more likely to be healthier, have higher earnings and exercise greater decision-making power within the household Skill Development of women to Capacity building of women, encouraging their participation in decision-making
Implement schemes and policies to increase the Child Sex Ratio
